Quarryland is a photodocumentary project regarding quarries. Photographs have been shot in Turkey based stone quarry.

That project is reflecting otherside of quarries, quarry becomes land somehow in that photographs; tough people, tough machines but a funfair theme. Project is not based on difficulties of quarry workers only, it’s mainly about joy and impressive atmosphere of their working area. In daily life we might not even think a quarryland would be that esthetic, what I wanted to make is reflecting a ‘beauty’ of a quarryland.
